Baseball Recap: Fennville Takes a Loss

Fennville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 21-2 to the Coloma Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-8 on Tuesday.

Fennville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seamus Lynch, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Fennville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Coloma, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-13.

Fennville has already played their next matchup, an 8-3 win against Lawrence on the 15th. As for Coloma, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Saugatuck on the 15th.
