Central has gone 8-2 against Holyoke recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Central Golden Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Holyoke Purple Knights at 7:00 p.m. Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Holyoke likes a good challenge.

Last Monday, Central didn't have too much trouble with Agawam as they won 80-62. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Brownies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Holyoke had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Colts by a score of 62-51. Winning may never get old, but the Purple Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Holyoke's win came from a few key players Central will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Aiden Cabrera, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine steals. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Calvin Godbolt, who went 9-for-17 to rack up 21 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Central pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.3 points over those games. As for Holyoke, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Everything went Central's way against Holyoke when the teams last played back in January, as Central made off with a 90-70 win. Will Central repeat their success, or does Holyoke have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
