Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Blue Valley). They were the clear victor by a 60-38 margin over the Blue Valley Northwest Huskies on Tuesday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Tigers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 186th, while the Huskies are ranked 40th).

Blue Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Blue Valley Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Blue Valley will welcome Saint Thomas Aquinas on Friday. As for Blue Valley Northwest, they will venture away from home to square off against Blue Valley North at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Blue Valley North will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Blue Valley Northwest surely won't give up without a fight.
