Volleyball Recap: Triton's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Triton waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Frontier Falcons by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Triton never let Frontier on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15.

Avery Viers paced Triton's offense, picking up ten kills. Viers got some help from Sophie Howell and her nine assists. Viers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Triton's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Frontier, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-1.

Triton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Glenn on the 18th. As for Frontier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Lafayette Jefferson on the 19th.
