Basketball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 61-28 loss at the hands of the Southeast Pirates. The Huskies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Southeast, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Northwestern will head out to face off against Wellington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Southeast has already played their next matchup (against Champion), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
