Basketball Recap: Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool was the 51-44 winner over Good Samaritan HomeSchool when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool took a hard 60-46 fall against the Good Samaritan HomeSchool Hornets on Monday.

Eli Shannon was nothing short of spectacular for Good Samaritan HomeSchool: he went 8-for-14 on his way to 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. That's the most steals Shannon has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was George Fogo, who earned 12 points and three steals.

Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool nor Good Samaritan HomeSchool have any future games scheduled.
