Softball Recap: Bishop Montgomery Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

Bishop Montgomery waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They had just enough and edged out the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since April 24, 2024.

Macey Kim spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Bishop Montgomery got a big performance out of Abigail Green, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Bailey Solheim, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
