Volleyball Recap: Mariner Comes Up Short

Mariner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Kamiak Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Mariner's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Kamiak, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mariner is set to face off against their familiar foe Lake Stevens at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Kamiak will challenge rival Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
