Softball Recap: Redmond Drops Highest Score of Season Against Summit

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Redmond). They put the hurt on the Summit Storm with a sharp 19-13 victory on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Redmond's victory bumped their record up to 5-14-1. As for Summit, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Redmond will challenge rival Caldera at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Summit is set to square off against their familiar foe Bend at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
