Christopher has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 17. They came up short against the Westmont Warriors on Friday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 771st, while the Warriors are ranked 46th).

Christopher's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-5. As for Westmont, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christopher will challenge Branham at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westmont, they will take on Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
