            Houston Math Science & Tech is 0-10 against Heights since March of 2019 but things could change  on Tuesday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field  against the Bulldogs  at 7:30  p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Houston Math Science & Tech has three straight  victories, Heights has five straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Houston Math Science & Tech barely beat Cesar E. Chavez the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers blew past the Lobos 10-2 on Saturday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight  runs or more this season.

 Omar Martinez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. What's more,  he posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Baldemar Alvarado was  excellent,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with four  RBI and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Jaden Gonzalez was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Heights didn't have quite enough to beat Bellaire on Friday and fell  8-7.
  Ryan Soto made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. He has become a key player for Heights: the team is 5-2 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 7-8 otherwise.
 Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Houston Math Science & Tech, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.
