Soccer Recap: Enumclaw Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Enumclaw was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Kentlake Falcons could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The Hornets had to tread lightly for part of the game as Brian Silva and Brandon Almaraz were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Enumclaw's goal came courtesy of Nery Ruiz, who's now up to four this season.

With that draw, Enumclaw's record moves to 1-1-1. As for Kentlake, they moved theirs to 0-0-2.

Enumclaw wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Decatur on the 19th. As for Kentlake, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Federal Way on the 19th.
