Preview: Saint Francis Lancers vs. Archbishop Riordan Crusaders

The Saint Francis Lancers will be playing at home against the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Saint Francis is ranked 42nd, while Archbishop Riordan is ranked 48th).
Saint Francis entered their tilt with Valley Christian with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Saint Francis came out on top against Valley Christian by a score of 24-14 on Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Saint Francis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaron Knapp, who threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Perrion Williams, who picked up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot offensive attacks in their last four contests, Archbishop Riordan finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They were dealt a 53-7 defeat at the hands of Serra. Archbishop Riordan was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-0.
Saint Francis' victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.7 points per game. As for Archbishop Riordan, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
