Basketball Game Preview: Palos Verdes Sea Kings vs. Redondo Union Sea Hawks

The Palos Verdes Sea Kings will head out to challenge the Redondo Union Sea Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Palos Verdes has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Redondo Union will arrive with six straight wins.

Last Friday, Palos Verdes didn't have quite enough to beat Wiseburn- Da Vinci and fell 52-49. While the Sea Kings didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolves 16-12 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Redondo Union posted their biggest victory since December 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They breezed by Wiseburn- Da Vinci to the tune of 82-53. The Sea Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 29 points or more this season.

Palos Verdes' loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Redondo Union, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Palos Verdes ended up a good deal behind Redondo Union in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, losing 74-58. Can Palos Verdes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
