Baseball Game Preview: Bedford Bisons vs. Central Dragons

Bedford is 0-6 against Central since May of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Bisons will be playing at home against the Dragons at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Southern Fulton hit Bedford with a four-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bisons fell just short of the Indians by a score of 5-4. That's two games in a row now that the Bisons have lost by just one run.

Aspen Anderson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Central finally came back down to earth on Monday. They fell just short of Bellefonte by a score of 3-1. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Loucks, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Bedford's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
