            The Alhambra Bulldogs will take on the Benicia Panthers at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The last three games Alhambra has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Having struggled with four  losses in a row, Alhambra  turned things around against Campolindo  on Thursday. They never let the Cougars get on the board and left with  a   2-0  victory.
Alhambra got a great performance from  Cameron Millar as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Millar has been consistent for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Alhambra saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Joaquin 'Kiki' Henriquez, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run. That's the most  hits  Henriquez has posted since back in March.  Ruadhan Melendez also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Benicia's offense. They fell just short of Cardinal Newman by a score of  2-0 on Saturday. The  contest marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.
 Benicia also got a good showing from  Jacob George, who   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits.
 Alhambra's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Benicia, they dropped their record down to 14-8 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
