Volleyball Recap: Northview Takes a Loss

Northview lost against Dunwoody back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Titans fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2.

Northview was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Dunwoody work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 25-14, 17-25, 22-25, 15-9.

Dunwoody found their leader in sophomore Simone Stroe, who had 16 digs and two aces.

Northview dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dunwoody, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

When Northview and Dunwoody next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Titans will try to stop Woodland's three-game winning streak when they meet at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Dunwoody will challenge Jackson County and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
