It's playoff time, and Brito had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Schoolhouse Prep Wolfpack 6-5. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won six matches in a row.

Noah Nevarez looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off one hit. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

At the plate, Brito saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hector Santos, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Santos has posted since back in March. Samuel Castro was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Brito's victory bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Schoolhouse Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Brito will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolfpack: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
