Softball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton lost to Steinert back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers lost 9-1 to the Spartans. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Princeton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jada S, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Steinert, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Princeton will be playing at home against Hightstown at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.73 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Steinert, they will head out to square off against Mount St. Dominic Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Spartans 1.5, the Lions 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
