Basketball Recap: Greene Central Find Success

Greene Central won the last time they faced North Lenoir, and An'nysha Wooten did her part to make sure it happened again. The Greene Central Rams narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the North Lenoir Hawks 41-38 thanks in part to Wooten, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

North Lenoir lost on Wednesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ta'Sheena Lynch, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds. Cassidee Fraser was another key player, putting up ten points and five assists.
