Basketball Recap: Susan Moore Takes a Loss

Susan Moore suffered their closest loss since January 24, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Southeastern Mustangs by a score of 73-70. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-46 last Tuesday.

Susan Moore's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Southeastern, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-10.

Susan Moore will face off against West End at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Southeastern has already played their next contest, a 90-26 loss against Hayden on the 18th.
