Laconia has gone a perfect 10-0 against Omro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Foxes at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Laconia is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Campbellsport just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 5-4.

Meanwhile, Omro came up short against North Fond du Lac on Thursday and fell 6-1. The Foxes have struggled against the Orioles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Omro saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kira Button, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Omro's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Laconia, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Everything went Laconia's way against Omro in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Laconia made off with a 9-0 victory. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Foxes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
