Gulliver Prep posted their closest victory since March 27, 2025 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 6-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jonah Weissmann tossed a big game, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, Gulliver Prep's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Falcon, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Gulliver Prep has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs this season. As for Immaculata-La Salle, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Gulliver Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-1 loss against Miami Springs on the 16th. As for Immaculata-La Salle, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-3 victory against Sports Leadership & Management on the 17th.
