Volleyball Recap: Sheldon Takes a Loss

Sheldon lost against Laguna Creek back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Huskies came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0.

While Sheldon was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-18.

Sheldon's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Laguna Creek, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sheldon is set to square off against their familiar foe Cosumnes Oaks at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Laguna Creek will challenge rival Pleasant Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
