Morgan Park Academy is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Morgan Park Academy was dealt a 71-41 defeat at the hands of Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the defeat, Morgan Park Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tyee Mason posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Ade Denton-Vance, who scored seven points and four blocks.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 59 points the game before, British International School of Chicago was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 80-18 loss at the hands of Holy Trinity. The contest marked British International School of Chicago's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

British International School of Chicago has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Morgan Park Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Morgan Park Academy strolled past British International School of Chicago in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 59-44.
