Football Recap: Brayson Robinson Leads Manvel's Defense on Thursday

If Pasadena Memorial wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Manvel, they should've done a better job of containing Eric Mosley III. Manvel simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Pasadena Memorial 67-7 thanks in part to Mosley III, who rushed for 100 yards and one score, and also caught one touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 57 yards.

One reason for the win was Manvel's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 3.5 sacks. Brayson Robinson was especially locked on to Pasadena Memorial's QB and sacked him twice.

Manvel now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pasadena Memorial, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.
