Baseball Preview: La Crescent Lancers vs. Byron Bears

The La Crescent Lancers will head out on the road to take on the Byron Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

La Crescent is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Jordan just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hubmen / Jaguars by a score of 3-2.

Drew Peters was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk).
