Recap: Deweyville Pirates vs. Harmony Science Academy Tigers
The Deweyville Pirates were the 67-34 winner over the Harmony Science Academy Tigers when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Deweyville fell 45-35 to Harmony Science Academy on Thursday.
Leading Harmony Science Academy to victory were Elijah Doucet and Kethen Randle. Doucet scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals, while Randle dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Randle's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Kaden Sparrow was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Deweyville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Harmony Science Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Deweyville will be playing at home against High Island at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harmony Science Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Legacy Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on December 1st.
