MaxPreps Top 25 Regional High School Football Computer Rankings: South Region

Louisiana teams made a move in this week's MaxPreps South Regional Football Computer Rankings with three teams joining the rankings from the Pelican State.

Archbishop Rummel (Metairie) had the best debut, coming in at No. 14. Byrd (Shreveport) joins the rankings at No. 19 while 2012 National Champion Curtis (River Ridge) joins the rankings at No. 22.

For the second straight week, St. Thomas Aquinas's lead over No. 2 Gonzaga (Washington D.C.) shrank. The Raiders hold a lead of just .3 ranking points.

The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings. The South region includes teams from Florida, Tennessee, Maryland, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Washington D.C., Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
