            Football Recap: Gainesville Hurricanes vs. Buchholz Bobcats        
        
		
        
        
            Friday just wasn't the day for Gainesville's offense. They were dealt  a  44-0 loss at the hands of the Buchholz Bobcats on Friday. The Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

 Gainesville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  ANTHONY JENKINS and  ZAIRE FRANCIS. FRANCIS also set a new season-high mark in  total tackles with seven.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Buchholz to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Chris Johnson, who rushed for 116 yards and one  touchdown on only ten carries.  Justin Williams was another key pass catcher, picking up 70 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
Gainesville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Buchholz, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
 Coming up, Gainesville will be playing at home against Leesburg  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Buchholz, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Tocoi Creek  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Bobcats will be up against the Toros' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
