Basketball Recap: Hitchcock-Tulare Takes a Loss

Hitchcock-Tulare lost against Warner back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warner Monarchs. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Hitchcock-Tulare still got an impressive performance from Katelyn Schroeder, who went 11 for 14 on her way to 24 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Those 24 points gave Schroeder a new career-high. Jocelyn Wagner also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Hitchcock-Tulare now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Warner, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Hitchcock-Tulare has already played their next match, a 47-34 victory against Iroquois/Lake Preston on the 16th. Warner has also already played their next contest (against Florence/Henry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
