Preview: Drumright Tornadoes vs. Braggs Wildcats
The Drumright Tornadoes will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Braggs Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on December 21st. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Drumright on the road against Oilton as the squad secured a 83-45 victory. Given Drumright's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while Oilton is ranked 385th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Joseph Bray, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 16 rebounds. The game was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Jonathon Chavez was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Braggs came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 75-35 victory over Cave Springs at home.
Drumright's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 46.33 points. As for Braggs, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
