Basketball Recap: Sale Creek Comes Up Short

Sale Creek was the 66-59 winner over Van Buren County when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sale Creek Panthers fell 61-54 to the Van Buren County Eagles on Monday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sale Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Van Buren County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Sale Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 77-69 loss against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts on the 4th. As for Van Buren County, they have also already played their next match, a 68-41 defeat against Grundy County on the 4th.
