Basketball Game Preview: Farragut Admirals vs. Dyett Eagles

The Farragut Admirals will take on the Dyett Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Farragut lost to Perspectives Leadership/Technology on the road by a 64-46 margin. While losing is never fun, the Admirals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 454th, while the Warriors are ranked 151st).

Meanwhile, Dyett posted their biggest win since December 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They blew past Englewood Stem, posting a 66-26 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Dyett pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Farragut, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
