Football Recap: Dracut Takes a Loss

Dracut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 42-6 loss at the hands of the Billerica Memorial Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Middies of the 55-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

Lyric DeLeon threw for 86 yards and one TD. Daniel Jacques was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards. On the ground, Owen French rushed for 64 yards.

Dracut's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Billerica Memorial, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Dracut has already played their next matchup (against Nashua North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Billerica Memorial, they have also already played their next contest, a 34-32 victory against Methuen on the 30th.
