Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plainfield North). They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Plainfield South Cougars on Saturday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Plainfield North's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 170th, while Plainfield South are ranked 403rd).

The win made it two in a row for Plainfield North and bumps their season record up to 6-9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matches. As for Plainfield South, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
