Softball Recap: Robertsdale Takes a Loss

Robertsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spanish Fort Toros. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Toros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on Friday.

Robertsdale saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carly Wolfe, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Robertsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Spanish Fort, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, Robertsdale will square off against Baker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Baker will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Robertsdale surely won't give up without a fight. As for Spanish Fort, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Mobile Christian on the 22nd.
