 Legacy won the last time they faced Monarch, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Legacy Lightning were the clear victor by  a  13-3 margin over the Monarch Coyotes.
  Dominich Simmons looked comfortable as he  tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 At the plate,  KC Reiser and  Chase Hoelting did most of the damage at the plate:  Reiser  went 2-for-3 with five  RBI, a  run,  and a  double, while  Hoelting  scored three  runs while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was  Ethan Sanchez, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in four of his six plate appearances.
 On Monarch's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Christian Mittleman, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Monarch, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record  this season.
 Legacy will be playing at home against Fairview at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Monarch, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Boulder at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Monarch and Boulder are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
