Softball Recap: Wauconda Comes Up Short

Wauconda lost against Lakes back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-6 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wauconda's record is now 5-20. As for Lakes, they moved to 8-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wauconda will venture away from home to square off against Antioch at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakes, they will head out to face off against Grayslake North at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
