Soccer Recap: Potterville Comes Up Short

Potterville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Perry Ramblers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Perry this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in April.

Potterville's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Perry, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Potterville wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Springport on the 10th. As for Perry, they will challenge Stockbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
