New Town has gone a perfect 4-0 against Patapsco recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. New Town will host Patapsco at 4:00 p.m. New Town's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Patapsco's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

New Town is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Mergenthaler Vo-Tech just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Patapsco had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Patapsco pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for New Town, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

New Town took their victory against Patapsco when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 18-5 score. Does New Town have another victory up their sleeve, or will Patapsco turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
