The Smyrna Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They secured a 61-57 W over McGavock. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Smyrna's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elliyon Kinzer led the charge by scoring 16 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Tyreque Mccarver, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Smyrna's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8. As for McGavock, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Rockvale is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for McGavock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Antioch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Antioch has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 509 points over their last eight games.
