King won the last time they faced Convent of the Sacred Heart and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Vikings walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers.

King had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-11, 25-12.

Emily McKee paced King's offense, picking up 28 kills. McKee got some help from Maria Victoria Triantafyllos and her 48 assists. Cristina Stuart controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

King's victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. King will face off against rival Storm King at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Convent of the Sacred Heart is set to square off against their familiar foe Hopkins at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
