Johnson hadn't done well against East Hall recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Knights skirted past the Vikings 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Vikings on September 6th, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Johnson got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 15-10.

The victory made it two in a row for Johnson and bumps their season record up to 4-20. As for East Hall, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-23 record this season.

Coincidentally, Johnson and East Hall will both be playing Lumpkin County the next time they take the court. The Knights will host the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
