Volleyball Recap: Roswell Takes a Loss

Roswell lost against Gainesville back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hornets came up short against the Red Elephants, falling 3-0.

While Roswell ultimately came up short, they really made Gainesville work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 26-24, 25-19.

Gainesville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Harper Orr out in front who had 31 assists. Those 31 assists gave Orr a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyndall Butler, who had 13 kills.

Roswell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Gainesville, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Roswell will face off against Chattahoochee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gainesville, they will square off against St. Pius X Catholic at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
