Beacon had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Wednesday. They walked away with a 55-42 victory over the Red Hook Raiders. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Raiders are ranked 314th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Beacon pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points over those games. As for Red Hook, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
