New Hope lost against Starkville back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

New Hope's loss dropped their record down to 14-8-1. As for Starkville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

New Hope will venture away from home to challenge Neshoba Central at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Starkville, they will welcome Lafayette at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Yellowjackets have won four straight at home, while the Commodores won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
