After losing to Montgomery County the last time they met, Centralia decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wildcats on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Wildcats on their court since October 25, 2021.

Centralia had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 26-24, 25-15, 25-20.

The victory made it two in a row for Centralia and bumps their season record up to 4-11-1. As for Montgomery County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-18-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Centralia and Montgomery County will both be playing Bowling Green the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
