After a string of seven wins, Master's Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Central Cobras by a score of 12-10. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cobras earlier this season, when they won 7-5.

Phoenix Henderson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alison Viersma, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Master's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Central, they pushed their record up to 5-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Master's Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sebastian River at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cobras' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sharks have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
