Football Recap: Royalton Allen and Jacob Webster Secure Win for Oak Hills

Oak Hills's game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They strolled past the Serrano Diamondbacks with points to spare, taking the game 28-14. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Diamondbacks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

A big part of Oak Hills' win came down to the chemistry between Jacob Webster and his top target Royalton Allen. Webster threw for 214 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 17 passes while Allen picked up 116 receiving yards and two TDs. Webster's passing game has become a key predictor of Oak Hills' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

Although Serrano took the loss, they still got scores from Anthony Rucker and Cade Lafever.

Oak Hills' record is now 4-2. As for Serrano, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Oak Hills has already played their next contest, a 42-21 victory against Apple Valley on the 10th. As for Serrano, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 38-21 win against Sultana on the 9th.
